The Slow Drink Tiki Celebration event Sunday, November 7 with Forbidden Island in Alameda was a smashing success!
Thanks to everyone who participated, and thanks to the Tiki Gods and Goddesses at Forbidden Island for sharing their passion for Tiki and for their hospitality. We’ll definitely do another one soon. Another great event. Slow Food Berkeley and Finlandia Vodka brought famed Finnish/American Chef Sara La Fountain to the table for a culinary experience focused on sustainability and the principles of Slow Food. The Cooking with Finlandia Vodka events were held from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, July 19 at Fairmont San Francisco, located at 950 Mason Street. 100 percent of ticket sales will be donated directly to the Slow Food Berkeley.
