Save the Date!  Plan to join us THURSDAY JANUARY 26th for a general meeting of the Slow Food East Bay community.  We’ll kick off at 6:30pm with a potluck meal and then roll into a more structured meeting from 7:00 to 8:00 with time for last-minute chatting until around 8:30pm.

Slow food community service days are an opportunity for us to get involved and give back to our different food communities. Join us in taking a break from the table and getting our hands dirty. The Alameda County Food Bank (http://www.accfb.org) needs our help. Join us in helping to organize and pack food for those who need it most. After we will move across the way to the Martin Luther King Jr. Shoreline Park (http://www.ebparks.org/parks/mlk) for a potluck picnic in the sun. Please bring a dish to share.
