Time to Make Plans for 2012!

27 December 2011 134 views 4 Comments

Save the Date!  Plan to join us THURSDAY JANUARY 26th for a general meeting of the Slow Food East Bay community.  We’ll kick off at 6:30pm with a potluck meal and then roll into a more structured meeting from 7:00 to 8:00 with time for last-minute chatting until around 8:30pm.

On the agenda?  A little Slow Food background, some talk of the future of the movement…  And most importantly, discussing local plans for 2012.  What would you like to see Slow Food East Bay do this year?  How should we participate in the burgeoning foodie community around us?  Be ready to chime in with your thoughts and suggestions, and if at all possible, think about actually getting involved in pulling these things off!  We are an all volunteer leadership committee (a tiny one at that!) and would love your assistance in planning for and organizing events.  The more hands helping out, the more we can do!

Stay tuned for more details on location and the organization of the potluck dishes.  And pass the word – Slow Food members, supporters, friends, family – everyone is welcome at our proverbial table….

Here’s a Happy, Healthy and Slow New Year!
