Think tofu dishes are bland and boring? Getting tired of making the same tofu dishes at home? Join us for a tasty and fun evening at Hodo Soy where we learn about the many creative ways to cook tofu. Minh Tsai, the founder of Hodo Soy Beanery will show us how to work with tofu in traditional and non-traditional ways. This versatile class is designed for both people who are new to using tofu and seasoned cooks that are looking for new ways to use soy products. After learning how to dress, marinate and fry tofu, you will learn how to create delicious tofu dishes that maximizes the texture and flavors of soy milk, tofu and yuba. You will leave the class with tasty recipes developed exclusively at Hodo Soy, such as Hodo Soy’s top-selling Spicy Yuba Strips, and a fundamental understanding of soy products to go home and create your own signature tofu dish.
Note: The ticket price includes a sumptuous spread of tofu dishes made by Hodo Soy. In addition, particpants will take home unique Hodo soy products not available through retail, including Nama Yuba, an extremely delicate, young yuba whose creamy and rich flavors makes it the caviar of tofu.
